Giuseppe Alardo
Giuseppe Alardo OSB († 1944 ) was abbot of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Maurice and St. Maur in Clervaux (Clervaux).
The Abbey in Clervaux in Luxembourg was built from 1909 to 1912. Alardo was appointed abbot of the territorial abbey in Clervaux on April 8, 1937 , which equates to the rank of bishop. He was the first and only abbot of the rank, as the abbey was only elevated to a territorial abbey in 1937 and was downgraded in 1946 just two years after his death in 1944.
