Giuseppe Ferla

Giuseppe Ferla (born November 26, 1859 in Lugano ; died June 12, 1916 there ) was a Swiss architect from Ticino .

Life

Giuseppe Ferla trained in Italy, details are not known. After completing his studies, he returned to Ticino and held numerous positions in Lugano as a lecturer at the cantonal drawing school and as a politician (city councilor, member of the municipal building commission). He was also involved in the development plan of Lugano and in this context built some important public buildings (schools, hospitals).
