Gjites
Gjiten is a GTK + / GNU / Linux based dictionary for Japanese . It is released as free software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). You can use it to look up Japanese entries as well as to issue queries written in Latin letters . Since a large number of dictionary files can be installed, Gjiten is in principle not limited to translations from and to Japanese from or to a specific language.
A Kanji - lexicon is present, the comprehensive information on the looked-Kanji supplies as common and rare readings, radical information or the Unicode value ( hexadecimal ). In addition, "KanjiPad" is an input field for graphic input ( mouse | tablet | touchpad ) that searches for error-tolerant handwritten characters and makes suggestions for the clipboard that can then be used in the other program parts.
