The Glammsee is located in the north of the Sternberg lake landscape in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in the Witzin municipality . It is located about 2 kilometers east of the town of the same name. The little indented body of water has a maximum length of about 480 meters and a maximum width of 200 meters. Only the south-east bank is forested. In the south, the lake borders on the municipality of Mustin . The bank slopes are very steep except for the south bank. In the south the lake merges into the Glammbruch. This is also where the drain is located.
