The Glanni is one of the waterfalls in the 62 km long Icelandic river Norðurá , which is one of the most important salmon rivers in Iceland. Its height of fall is 8 m
Its location is east of the Icelandic town of Bifröst in the municipality of Borgarbyggð , Vesturland region (German: Westland). There is a marked hiking trail from Bifröst.
The Paradisarlaut pond is located near the Glanni waterfall .
There is also a lava field of the extinct Grábrók volcano nearby. The lava is about 3600 years old.
According to a legend, the Glanni waterfall is said to be the residence of elves and trolls.
