The Glanzer Berg (also Glunzerberg ) is an inhabited mountain northeast of Matrei in East Tyrol .

It is the neighboring mountain of the Klaunzerberg, on which the Goldried ski area is located. The Glanzer Berg consists of the two groups Hinterburg and Glanz .

Infrastructure

The landmark of the Glanzer mountain is the Falkenstein ( 1711  m ), a popular climbing mountain. The most important farms on the Glanzer Berg are: Michler, Wachtler, Staudler, Lunsegger, Köfler, Schmunzer, Lackner, Hanser, Maschgel and Walzen. At the end of the Glanzer Mountain, the Bretterwandspitze rises at 2887  m .
