Glass chin

Glass chin is a slang term from boxing . It describes the low ability of a fighter to take, who is particularly prone to a knockout .

The term gained special media coverage in connection with two knockout defeats Wladimir Klitschko against Corrie Sanders (2nd round) and Lamon Brewster (5th round) in 2003 and 2004. Discussions regarding the question of whether Klitschko under one Glass chin suffered, lasted for years and was regularly revived by opponents.

The term is also used in the media and in everyday language in relation to people who are good at handing out verbally, but cannot take much and are easily offended.

The glass chin is not to be confused with glass bone disease .
