Glasnevin Cemetery
Glasnevin Cemetery ( Irish Reilig Ghlas Naíon ) is the largest cemetery in Ireland with an area of 50 hectares .
In 1832 a burial place for Irish Catholics was established in Glasnevin, a northern part of Dublin , on the initiative of Daniel O'Connell . The Irish National Cemetery evolved from him.
