The village Glass is located in Somervell County in Texas at the intersection of US 67 and Farm Road 203, 4 miles southwest of Glen Rose .

The place was founded in the 1890s. In 1904 the place received a post office operated by John D. Sanders, who was also the owner of the retail shop and the pub of the place. The population fell from 60 in 1910 to 25 in 1920 to 10 in 1933. The post office, which had been closed in the meantime, was reopened in 1926. The place had a relatively constant population of around 50 from 1940 to the end of the 1960s. More recent data are not available because the place was no longer recorded in the last censuses.
