Glen Rose is a small town in Somervell County , Texas . It was founded around 1889 and currently has around 2,120 inhabitants. It is also the administrative center of the county. Sights are the institute and college.
To the west of the city is Dinosaur Valley State Park with prehistoric footsteps from Acrocanthosaurus and Apatosaurus .
