DC transmission ratio

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In optocouplers, the direct current transfer ratio (CTR = Current Transfer Ratio) indicates the ratio between output and input current for direct current signals or low signal frequencies . For optocouplers with a photodiode it is 0.001–0.005 of the input current, for optocouplers with a phototransistor 0.4–10000, in special cases considerably more.
