Gleisweiler hell
The Gleisweiler Hölle is the most famous vineyard in the Gleisweiler wine village , which is located in the Southern Wine Route district in Rhineland-Palatinate and is part of the Palatinate wine-growing region . It belongs to the large area of the Bischofskreuz . It gained its national fame because one of its vineyards belonged to CDU politician Heiner Geißler , who temporarily lived in Gleisweiler. The size of the single layer is 65.4 hectares , the soil consists of sandy loam . Mainly Riesling is grown.
