history
The Glen Class boats are one-size-fits- all and were built at the Glen Shipyard in Bangor , Northern Ireland. The small sea cruisers with long keel, yacht stern and spoon bow were designed by the renowned Scottish yacht designer Alfred Mylne at the end of the 1940s. A total of about 39 boats were built, most of them in the 1950s. The fleet in Dublin Bay currently consists of 14 boats.
