Glenside was a whiskey distillery in Campbeltown , Argyll and Bute , Scotland . It was in the Campbeltown whiskey region .

The distillery was built on Glenside Street in 1830 by John Marshall . In some cases, David Anderson , James Armor and Jessie Miller are also given as founders in connection with the founding date 1834, but this does not coincide with Barnard's records. Over the years, the distillery changed hands frequently, although the name remained unchanged until the end. The last owners are Robertson & Co. , which closed the business in 1926. The buildings have since been demolished. Today there are apartment blocks on the area.

When Alfred Barnard visited the distillery as part of his whiskey tour in 1885, it had an annual production capacity of 70,000  gallons . A coarse bladder ( wash still ) with a capacity of 2483 gallons and a fine bladder ( spirit still ) with a capacity of 1372 and 1066 gallons respectively were available. Only malt whiskey was produced.
