Glienicke Hunting Lodge (2009)

The Glienicker Talks have been held by the Berlin School of Economics and Law since 1987; in 2019 they will celebrate their 30th birthday (due to a three-time pause).

The name of the conversation refers to the Glienicke hunting lodge near the Glienicke Bridge between Berlin and Potsdam . The talks took place there in the first few years. After that, the Glienicker Talks were held in the premises of the University of Economics and Law due to the growing number of participants.

University lecturers from universities for the public service as well as representatives of the supervisory ministries and administrative practice come together for the Glienick Talks . The topics of the talks mainly focus on current questions about the development of universities for the public service.
