Global Gaming League
The Global Gaming League (GGL short) was an American e-sports -Liga. A distinction is made between GGL Ladders , GGL Leagues and GGL Events . After a partnership between the Dutch ClanBase and the GGL was announced at the end of 2004, ClanBase was incorporated into the GGL in July 2005. The founding of the Hip-Hop Gaming League by Snoop Dogg in February 2006 caused a sensation other Method Man , Twista and Just Blaze compete against each other. The first cross-league tournament of ClanBase and GGL took place at the end of March 2006 with the TransAtlantic Showdown , in which the winners of the EuroCup compete against the winners of the AmeriCup. With the Golden Llama Award , the GGL also awards a prize for e-sports films. Another event of the Global Gaming League are the V-Sports All-Stars Games , where the best players are chosen by readers in continental teams and compete against each other.
