The Global Group is a group of companies based in Algiers ( Algeria ), which includes the following subsidiaries:

  • GMIA : Distribution of Hyundai trucks and buses assembled in Algeria.
  • GMI : assembly plant for Hyundai commercial vehicles.
  • Kia Aldjazair : Distribution of Kia brand vehicles assembled in Algeria.
  • Gloviz : assembly plant for Kia vehicles.
  • G-Transit : international freight forwarding.
  • Transglobal : Goods, vehicle and container transport.

Vehicle production

The first Hyundai delivery vans were assembled at GMI in Batna in 2016.

Gloviz is a joint venture with Kia Motors , which sees this company as the most important base in Africa. The circumstances of the founding of Gloviz are not without controversy. The foundation stone for this plant in Djerma was laid in March 2017. Production at Gloviz began in spring 2018. The Kia Picanto had previously been assembled at GMI.

Models

The Kia models Picanto, Rio , Cerato and the K2700 delivery van are assembled at Gloviz .
