The Global Marijuana March (GMM), also known as the Million Marijuana March (MMM) and Global Cannabis March , is an annual international demonstration for the legalization of cannabis and cannabis products. It always takes place in and around the month of May, for example in Berlin in early May and in Prague in mid / late June. Protest marches, rallies, meetings, information stands, concerts, festivals and raves are held.

The hemp activist Dana Beal started the Global Marijuana March in 1999 under the name Million Marijuana March in the USA . Since then, hundreds of thousands of participants worldwide in over 829 different cities in 72 countries have taken part. It is sometimes held locally under other names such as World Cannabis Day, Cannabis Liberation Day, Global Space Odyssey, Ganja Day, J Day, Million Blunts March, etc. The Global Marijuana March wants to show that the cannabis scene is a very special subculture and lifestyle that cannabis users have consciously chosen and celebrates it. Consumers, or advocates of legalization, as well as non-consumers are equally invited to take part.
