The Gmeinder D 75 BB-SE is a diesel locomotive with a track width of 760 mm, which was specially developed for the Zillertal Railway .

history

The Zillertalbahn bought four locomotives. In addition, the ÖBB ordered a locomotive for the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn , which was classified as a class 2096, but was no longer taken over by the ÖBB in regular service. This was taken over by Salzburg AG and two more were appointed. They are listed on the Zillertalbahn under the names D13, D14, D15 and D16 and on the SLB Pinzgauer Lokalbahn as Vs 81 (initially referred to as ÖBB 2096 001-0), Vs 82 and Vs 83.

It is used in front of passenger and freight trains as well as in shunting services . The first locomotive was delivered in 2004, the seventh locomotive was delivered in May 2012. The locomotives are internally called Lupo at the Zillertalbahn ; Rehlein was intended as a designation for the ÖBB .

technical features

If required, the machines can be equipped with meter gauge bogies or standard gauge bogies. They have a central buffer coupling . Additional pulling and pushing devices with side buffers and screw couplings at different heights can be attached for use on the standard track or in front of roller-head trains . There are two final cabs and a push-pull train control . The locomotives can also be remote-controlled for shunting.

The engine power is transmitted hydraulically with a Voith turbo reversing gearbox with two speed ranges (for freight and passenger traffic). A power supply device is installed for passenger cars. After the experience with the first two copies, small construction defects were eliminated, which were then taken into account in the other machines. So was z. B. built in improved damping for the storage of the driver's cab to reduce the noise pollution of the train driver.
