The Gniezno Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Gniezno ) is a glacier in the Arctowski Mountains on King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It flows between Mount Hopeful and the Nunatak Newcomer to the Polonia Piedmont Glacier .
Polish scientists named it in 1980 after the former Polish capital Gniezno .
