The Polonia Piedmont Glacier ( Polish Lodowiec Polonia ) is a semicircular foreland glacier on the south coast of King George Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located between Lions Rump and Turret Point at the head of King George Bay .
Participants in a Polish Antarctic expedition (1979–1980) named the glacier after their home country, Poland .
