Lions Rump ( English for lions croup ) is a vorgebirgsartige headland , which the west side of the entrance to King George Bay on the south coast of King George Iceland in the group of the South Shetlands marked.
The cape was mapped and descriptively named in 1937 by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations .
