Goba is a town in the region Oromia in Ethiopia , located in the south-central area of the country, about 300 kilometers southeast of Addis Ababa m in height in 2743. According to calculations, the population was 34,369 in 2005.

Located 10 km northeast of the Bale Mountains National Park, it is the starting point for the National Park. Goba is also known for its markets as well as for honey, wicker and cotton towels. The city shares an airport with neighboring Robe from which Ethiopian Airlines offers flights to and from Addis Ababa.

Goba was the capital of the then Bale Province until 1995 .
