Godefroid de Bouillon is a Franco-Belgian comic created by Sirius .
The realistically drawn biography about the crusader Gottfried von Bouillon was published in Spirou between January 1946 and November 1947 . Sirius continued the tradition of illustrated biographies of historical figures that Jijé had begun in the magazine.
Dupuis released the album in 1950. The publication in L'Histoire en bandes dessinées was preceded by another reprint in Spirou in 1978 . Another edition came from Le Coffre à BD in 2006.
