The Gohliser Windmühle is an old Turmholländer windmill in Dresden-Gohlis .

history

The mill was built between 1828 and 1832 by the landowner Hefter. It was used as a flour mill until 1914 . It then served as a youth hostel , holiday camp , museum and restaurant. The mill was reconstructed several times (1925, 1953, 1966) and then left to decay again. In 2006 the restoration of the windmill began and was completed in 2007.

Today the Gohlis windmill is used as a museum and restaurant (mill room ) with an attached beer garden.
