Gold Dust is a song by British music producer DJ Fresh . It was first released instrumentally on August 16, 2008. On August 1, 2010, a version with Ce'Cile as the singer was released. It was able to reach number 24 on the charts in Great Britain. The single was released as the fourth off DJ Fresh's album Kryptonite . There have been some remixes of the song like the Flux Pavilion Remix , whose style is mostly dubstep . Two years later, DJ Fresh recorded the song again for his album Nextlevelism , this time with the assistance of Ms. Dynamite . This version was re-released as a single and hit number 22 on the UK charts.
Music video
In the music video you can see the artist group Jumpers in Command , who also became champions of Double Dutch , as in the music video for Louder , on a basketball court doing stunts and tricks. They do this mainly with a jump rope.
reception
The album received mostly positive reviews.
"The booming intro on DJ Vent's remix teases us until the drums reduce to a half-beat as Ce'cile's vocals are brought in. The mix continues to tease us as the bassy drums build up to an almighty high and drop us right off the edge into grimey bass-ridden garage. The deep synths are reverberated when the drum and bass returns towards the end of the track. "
