from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 1930, in Frankfurt am Main , a Golden Book of Foundations Frankfurt from 1930 to created.

history

The foundations set up in Frankfurt am Main since 1930 can be listed in the Golden Book. It was intended to expand and supplement the memory book of the foundations in Frankfurt am Main , in which all the older foundations in the city were listed. This memory book had become necessary due to the inflation in the years after the First World War , when the assets of many foundations had been drained. Due to inflation, the foundation's purpose could no longer be fulfilled in some cases and these had to be dissolved or merged with other foundations.

The Golden Book, created in 1930, was filled after the entry by 108 Frankfurt foundations in 2011 and was continued in 2012 with a second volume with seven entries so far.

The foundations themselves arrange for the entries in the foundation book. The artistic design of the individual sheets of buttered paper is left to the donors, but it is always accompanied by the city's legal office. The registration itself is carried out by a public act in the presence of representatives of the city and representatives of the foundation.

Since 2014, the details from the two volumes of the Golden Book of the Foundations can be found on the website of the City of Frankfurt.
