São Gomes Aires is a place and a former Portuguese municipality ( Freguesia ) in the district of Almodôvar in the district ( Beja ). The municipality had an area of 65.5 km² and 355 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Gomes Aires and Santa Clara-a-Nova were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Santa Clara-a-Nova e Gomes Aires .
