Gomikawa Jumpei
Gomikawa Jumpei ( Japanese 五味 川 純平 ; * March 15, 1916 , † March 8, 1995 ) was a Japanese writer.
Gomikawa became famous for his novel Ningen no jōken . The six-volume epic formed the template for the film trilogy Barefoot Through Hell (1959-61) by director Masaki Kobayashi . Gomikawa also provided the novel for the film Senso to ningen: Unmei no jokyoku (1970) by Satsuo Yamamoto . In 1978 he received the Kikuchi Kan Prize .
