Mjerjei won the bronze medal with the relay at the 1990 Asian Winter Games in Sapporo . At the Winter Olympics in Albertville in February 1992 , he finished 82nd place over 10 km classic, 77th place in the pursuit, 73rd place over 30 km classic and 64th place over 50 km freestyle.
