The SUV models Alter and Shuaijian were sport utility vehicles of the Chinese car brand Gonow and were produced as the manufacturer's first model from 2003. The age provided the pick-up for both of them as a commercial vehicle.

The standard equipment included central locking with remote control, SABS, roof antenna, reversing sensors and reversing camera, LCD monitor in the dashboard, leather upholstery and wood decor as well as green UV filter glass.

Gonow Auto offered two different types of gasoline engines and a diesel version with EGR . The entry-level model was the 4JB1 diesel engine , which had 67.6 kW at the age and 57 or optionally 67.6 kW at the Shuaijian. Its displacement was 2771 cm³. In the middle, the gasoline engine of the type GA491QE was placed, which with a displacement of 2237 cm³ and EFI offered an output of 75 kW. The top engine of the two sister models was reserved for age. Another 4G64S4M gasoline engine provided the drive, which had an output of 92 kW with a displacement of 2351 cm³. However, this was the only variant with all-wheel drive.

In 2012, production of the Gonow Alter SUV was discontinued. The pick-up was initially retained. In relation to the takeover by GAC two years earlier, the model name was changed to 300 .

This model was also discontinued at the latest when the Gonow brand was discontinued in 2016.
