The two models were produced from 2005 based on the GX6 .

Standard features of both models were manual air conditioning, electronically operated windows front and rear, MABS and a VCD player. The Troy also offered leather upholstery, fog lights, CD player, folding exterior rear-view mirrors, a DVD player and central locking with remote control.

For the entry-level model, Gonow used an in-house diesel engine of the 4JB1 type . This had a displacement of 2771 cm³ and offered an output of 57 kW . In the middle Gonow put the gasoline engine of the type GA491QE one. This had a displacement of 2237 cm³ and offered an output of 75 kW. For the all-wheel-drive top model, however, the manufacturer relied on the 4G64 gasoline engine from Japanese Mitsubishi Motors . This had a displacement of 2351 cm³ and offers an output of 92 kW.

In the late year of 2008 Gonow had his fan revised and put it on in the second generation. The Troy, on the other hand, was retained in the first generation and, as a parallel model, was intended to offer a greater selection in the various markets. In 2012 the name of the model was changed to Gonow 100 . This model was also discontinued at the latest when the Gonow brand was discontinued in 2016.

With the second generation, Gonow spun off the fan and now has it ranked as a parallel model to the ex-sister model Troy. The former selection of the fan has meanwhile been incorporated into the Troy and so now offered a greater choice.

As standard, the fan offered central locking with remote control, electronically adjustable and folding exterior rear-view mirrors, a radio with CD player, SABS, leather upholstery, a roof antenna, and manual air conditioning with pollen filter.

As an entry-level engine, 4L22CR gasoline engines with high-pressure common rail technology were used in the fan . This had a displacement of 2156 cm³ and offered an output of 66 kW. The top model, however, received the 75 kW GA491QE with EFI . This had a displacement of 2237 cm³ and corresponds to the Euro III emissions standard . The maximum speed was reached at 160 km / h . In 2012 the production of the Gonow Fan was discontinued along with the Isuzu D-MAX first generation. The Gonow 500 , a license-built Toyota Hilux, was then offered as a replacement .
