Gonzalo Colsa Albendea (born May 11, 1979 in Santander , Cantabria ) is a Spanish football player .
Colsa, who came from the youth of Racing Santander , made the second attempt in Santander after a brief engagement with CD Logroñés . Hailed as a promising talent, Colsa was signed by Atlético Madrid in 2001 . After only one year and the missed breakthrough at a top club, Colsa continued at Real Valladolid , which he left after only one year to also play for RCD Mallorca for only one year .
The wanderer Colsa, who never really settled down anywhere, made his way back to Atlético Madrid in 2004. After two years in the Spanish capital, he returned to his old employer, Racing Santander, in 2006. He stayed there for six years and played over 190 competitive games during this time. In summer 2012 he decided to switch to CD Mirandés .
