Google Jamboard is an interactive whiteboard developed by Google as part of the G Suite family. The device has a 55 " 4K touchscreen display and is compatible for online collaboration through cross-platform support. The display can also be mounted on the wall or configured as a tripod. At the same time, Google Jamboard is also the name of the software that can be accessed from any computer can access it in the browser.

history

On October 25, 2016, Jamboard was announced on the official Google Blog by TJ Varghese, G Suite product manager . The announcement trailer for the product was released on YouTube that same day. At the same time, a website including an early adopter program for the device was launched.

Jamboard has a 55 "4K display that supports touchscreen, has a refresh rate of 60 Hz and can recognize up to 16 points of contact at the same time. It has a Wi-Fi connection, an HD front camera, microphone and built-in speakers. The touchscreen is controlled by a special pen to control the device or to draw on it, as well as to erase.

software

The Jamboard also has an operating system that is compatible with the G Suite ecosystem. The main controller of the jam board can open a “jam”, a session in which users can participate and work on projects within the available space.
