Google Street View Trusted

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Google Street View Trusted (formerly called Google Business Photos ) is a virtual tour service started by Google . It uses the same photography technique used in Google Street View to provide 360˚ interactive panoramas in corporate interiors. As soon as a virtual tour is published by Google, the link to the tour is displayed directly on the search results page and on Google Maps . The tour will also be published on Google+ pages and Google Maps. A visitor attending a business virtual tour can navigate the interior in the same way that a Google Street View user can navigate streets and highways.

development

Google Business Photos was founded by Google in April 2010 and published for the first time in 30 cities in the USA, Australia and Japan; the service also started in Germany in 2013. By January 2013, 100,000 companies had used the service and virtually displayed their premises on Google Maps. Google renamed Google Business Photos to Google Business View in 2014 . In 2015 the product was renamed from Google Business View to Google Street View Trusted .

At the Street View Summit in May 2016 it was announced that photographers had the opportunity to be included in the list of professionally certified photographers according to certain criteria.

photography

The virtual tours are photographed by Google certified photographers and agencies. These photographers are independent contractors and are not employed by Google. The company using the service only pays the photographer; Google does this for free.
