Sedam brda

As the Sedam brda ( Serbian - Cyrillic Седморо Брда ) or Sedmoro brda ( Serbian - Cyrillic Седморо Брда ), which means "The Seven Hills", the seven Serbian tribes of the historical Brda region were referred to. This as Brđani ( "The Brđaner") or Gorštaci ( "The Highlander designated") highland tribes defied in a defensive alliance always the attacks foreign armies, especially the Ottomans , and could by any foreign domination are really subject, making them an essential part of Serbian preserved Montenegrin traditions.
