The megalithic complex of Gorraun ( Irish An Garrán ) is one of only two reasonably preserved, type-wise difficult to determine complexes, on the border with County Tipperary , in County Offaly in Ireland . It is not marked on the OS maps, but is listed under the National Monuments .

The facility is located near the border with Tipperary in the forest on a low, round residual hair made of small stones and earth with a diameter of about 10.0 m. The capstone made of red sandstone , about 0.8 m above today's ground level, is almost horizontal and is 3.7 m long, 2.1 m wide and 0.35 m thick. It is supported at two points by small, flat plates and is surrounded by large boulders that could be curbs. The northwest-southeast oriented facility has the characteristics of a passage tomb , but is mostly viewed as a wedge tomb .

Nearby is the ruins of the Springmount Mill watermill .
