Gotizismus ( Swedish göticism ) called

  • the Gothic influence on a non-Gothic language, e.g. B. Gothic loanwords in Spanish, see Spanish language
  • the nationalist ideology of a large Gothic universalism, which emphasizes a real or supposed descent from or relationship to the Goths of the Migration Period, z. B. in medieval Spain, in Sweden (especially in the 17th and 18th centuries) or in National Socialist Germany, see History of Sweden
  • a national romantic renaissance of early modern Gothicism in Sweden in the 19th century, also known as Neo-Gothicism , see Götiska Förbundet
  • a neo-Gothic-romantic architectural style z. B. in Sweden in the 19th century, see neo-Gothic
