Gottfried Angerer (musician)

Gottfried Angerer (born May 19, 1963 in Linz ) is an Austrian bass guitarist , music teacher and systems analyst .

Life

Gottfried Angerer studied electric bass and violin at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, as well as computer science at the Johannes Kepler University Linz . Since 1987 he has been working with the Austrian band Bruckner's Unlimited, with whom he toured regularly through Europe and Asia, especially between 1990 and 2003. Later he started working with the salsa orchestra Sanmera, u. a. with Milagros Pinera, Luis Felipe de Armas Bocalandro, Vicente Alberto Izquierdo Curbelo, Yacqueline Castellanos. The Sanmera production Leche Condensada achieved first place in the 2005 World Music Award (Concerto Poll 2005, World Music category) from the music magazine Concerto. The work as bassist and producer of the formation John Lee Sanders & The World Blue Band led to an award at the BC Interior Music Award for the album Bucket Full of Blues as best band , best blues album and best R'n'B production .
