Gottfried Kalmring

Gottfried Kalmring (born February 9, 1840 in Kerspleben , Thuringia ; †  February 28, 1895 there ) was a farmer, mayor and member of the Reichstag (German Empire) .

Life

Kalmring attended the village school, received private lessons and became a farmer. He was mayor of Kerspleben , a district committee member and a member of the appeal committee in tax matters. He was the bearer of the House Order of the White Falcon and holder of the Golden Medal. He belonged to the German Reich Party and was a member of the state parliament in the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach from 1880 to 1892 and a member of the German Reichstag for constituency 1 in the Grand Duchy of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach , which included the district of Weimar and from 1893 until his death included the administrative district of Apolda .
