The Goujon-Werk ( Russian Гужон ) was a mechanical engineering company in the Rogoschski district of Moscow , which was named Metallurgical Works Sickle and Hammer ( Serp i Molot ) during the Soviet Union and today u. a. Tubes and steel products produced.

The plant was built from 1882 to 1884. In January 1917 the workforce totaled 3,270 workers. An organization of the RSDLP came into being in March 1917 and had 75 members in October 1917. The department of the Red Guard comprised on 15./28. September 1917 about 150 fighters.

Its organizer was the Bolshevik JD Tumanov. During the October uprising in 1917, the workers controlled the Rogozhsky district, captured the Krutizki (later: Aljoschisnki) barracks, fought against the officer students of the Alexeevsky military school and against the cadet corps in Lefortovo, and took part in the battle for the Kremlin .
