The Gränzbote is a historical newspaper from Tuttlingen and today's regional edition of the Schwäbische Zeitung .

The newspaper was founded in 1830 and reported from Tuttlingen and its surrounding communities. The name comes from the existing border between the Grand Duchy of Baden and the Kingdom of Württemberg . The circulation area of ​​the newspaper was on both sides of the border.

The Gränzbote has belonged to the Schwäbische Zeitung of Schwäbisch Media since 1960 , takes over its cover, but has its own regional editorial team . The former regional sections of the Gränzbote, the Heuberger Bote and the Trossinger Zeitung are also part of Schwäbisch Media.
