The founder platform is a website with support offers for founders . The platform has been in operation since 2018 and is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and KfW . According to the company, the aim is to encourage more people to start a business, to support them in preparing for their start-up and to simplify the start-up process.

history

The idea behind the start-up platform arose in 2012 as part of a BMWi study on the future of start-up funding. In 2016, BMWi, KfW and Businesspilot GmbH joined forces under the direction of Jan Evers to implement the platform, which then started in 2018 with over 200 partner offers on the start-up platform.

Functions

The website offers advice, explanatory videos, examples and interactive aids. Registered users can use the start-up platform to develop their business model, create a business plan from it, share it and send it to a bank or savings bank together with their financing request.

Private and public actors involved in start-up support and start-up advice ( guarantee banks of the federal states, chambers of the federal states, regional business development agencies , savings banks, banks, etc.) can use the start-up platform and enter their respective assistance and funding offers in a central database , in order to network with other start-ups from their area to become. The user is suggested the right financing and funding partners for the business model, industry, region and capital requirement.
