Gražina Imbrasienė

Gražina Imbrasienė (born June 10, 1950 in Šiaulėnai , Radviliškis district municipality ) is a Lithuanian conservative politician and lawyer .

Life

After graduating from the Švenčionėliai boarding school , Imbrasienė graduated from Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in law in 1977 . From 1977 to 1996 she worked as a legal advisor in the state control of finances, as the head of the legal department at the Ministry of Finance (Lithuania) and then as a legal advisor in the Lietuvos bankų asociacija association . From 1996 to 2000 she was a member of the Seimas and headed the Legal Committee (Teisės ir teisėtvarkos komitetas, Committee on Law and Order). From 2000 to 2005 she was the Lithuanian commissioner for the protection of children .

Imbrasienė has been a member of Tėvynės Sąjunga (Lietuvos konservatoriai) since 1993 .

Imbrasienė is divorced and has the son Alvydas.
