The "grave mound in the forest near Bergarn"

The monument number D 1-7638-0002 is a burial mound of unknown time position overgrown with trees and bushes, with a diameter of around 10 to 12 m and a height of around 1.7 m. It is located in a forest on the south-eastern edge of Bergarn (municipality of Bockhorn (Upper Bavaria) ) in the district of Erding in Bavaria.

At the edge there are two smaller interventions in the hill. A second hill, immediately next to it, cannot be assigned unequivocally for laypeople, because some terrain structures in the immediate vicinity look similar.

In the same forest there is also another burial mound from the Bronze Age with the monument number D 1-7638-0003 .
