History and description
Robert Cauer's grave is decorated with a relief . The grave relief is called “Abschied” and is the work of the artist himself. In the half-relief it shows two men shaking hands in parting - one of the two (left) stays behind; the other (right) goes on a journey. It symbolizes the death and grief of the bereaved.
