The grave slab at Church 6 is located in the Wanlo district in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). It was made in 1781. It was entered in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach on August 18, 1994 under No. A 037 .

The grave slab was originally set into the south-west facing retaining wall of the church . In 1995 it was expanded for conservation reasons and moved inside the tower. The grave slab is mounted on the ground floor of the church tower .

The inscription reads:

HIC SISTE GRADUM / PIE VATOR AC PRECARE / PASTOR HOFFMANN RE = / QVIES: CAT IN SANCTA / DEI SVI PACE / OBDOR MIVIT 27 APRILIS / ANNO AETATIS SVAE 70 ET / PER 36 ANNOS PASTOR ZELO / SUS IN WANLO

The grave slab comes from the grave of Pastor Franz Anton Hoffmann, who worked in Wanlo between 1781 and 1814, and had the Michaelis Chapel, which was demolished in 1960/61, built in the churchyard at his own expense in 1810/11. The local population performed the necessary clamping services .
