The Grand Aquarium Saint-Malo is a marine aquarium in Saint-Malo in north-west France in the Brittany region .

On a total area of 4000 m 2 and with a capacity of around 2.5 million liters of water, the Grand Aquarium Saint-Malo is home to around 11,000 animals of around 600 different species in 46 water basins.
The main attractions in the Grand Aquarium Saint-Malo include the "Bassin Tactile", a 120 m 2 seawater basin to touch and feel, and the 600,000 liter "anneau des requins", a 360-degree shark tank in which you can seven to up close to three meter long sharks and three sea turtles all around.
From 1996 to 2011, the aquarium belonged to the French amusement park chain Grévin & Cie . In January 2011 it was taken over by the amusement park chain Looping Group .
