Greg Kroah-Hartman is a software developer and one of the most prominent Linux kernel developers, especially for the Linux Driver Project he started himself .

Life

The maintainer file of the Linux kernel indicates that he is responsible for the stable kernel branch, the staging subsystem, USB , driver core, debugfs , kref, kobject and the Sysfs kernel subsystem. He is also a developer on the Udev project.

From 2004 to early 2012 he worked for Novell at SUSE Labs. He has been working for the Linux Foundation since February 1, 2012 . He lives in The Hague .
