Gregor Hatala

Gregor Hatala (born August 22, 1974 in Vienna ) is an Austrian ballet dancer and the son of the originally Slovak dancer Milan Hatala.

Life

Hatala comes from a family of artists and received his training at the ballet school of the Austrian Federal Theater . Since 1990 he has been a member of the Vienna State Opera Ballet. In 1996 he was made a solo dancer and in 2000 his first solo dancer. In 1994/95 he danced as a soloist with the Boston Ballet, where he worked intensively with Tatjana Legat. From 1999 to 2006 he was a guest soloist at the Hungarian National Ballet and from 2004 to 2006 a guest soloist at the Slovak National Theater. From 2003 to 2008 he was consultant and organizer of the Gala di Danza at Francis Menotti's Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto . Since 2009 he has also been the chairman of the “Association of the Vienna State Opera Ballet”.
